Upper Multnomah Falls | Columbia River Gorge OR

Multnomah Creek nearing the 620 foor plunge down the falls. While the hike is relatively short—only 2.4 miles round-trip from the parking lot—the steep grade and many switchbacks can be demanding, especially for hardened couch potatoes. The volume of hikers thinned out quickly after the Benson Footbridge. My kneecaps were stiff for a couple of days, but it was worth it.
