Watchtower and Blooming Lupine at Knapp Circle | Port Townsend, Washington

The old watchtower, a relic of WWII, sat between Knapp Circle and Harbor Defense Way. During the1960s and 70s kids often scaled the tower, hoping to catch a glimpse of a bygone era. Sadly, the tower was demolished in the early 2000s and now only exists in our collective memories. It could have made a great station for an Artillery Hill zip-line and microbrewery.
